The concept of my portfolio is contemporary portraits of teenagers, both in color and monochrome, with a passage paired with each photo to subtly tell a story or create a character within the portrait. I would like the viewers of this series to leave the scene having created questions based on confusion in the portrait. My inspirations are Larry Clark and Patrick O' Dell, who have seemed to exemplify this concept of story telling into each of their photographs.

My prefrence of presentation would be to create a giant collage using these photos. I would almost prefer it to look like as if the frames are spreading from one side of the wall to the other. If possible, I would also like to use tacky, random, and dilapidated picture frames to create diversity, as each photograph will be.
